“I used to be great at doing shadow puppets,” Victor said, holding up his new left arm and watching the misshapen shadow thrown up against the wall. He curled his fingers into a fist, feeling the new claws digging into his palm.
“Are you gonna start whining about your arm again?” Santo groaned, reaching for the remote and turning up the volume on the TV.
Victor responded by picking up a pillow and chucking it at Santo’s head.
