Victor extended his new arm, then curled his fingers into a fist. He slowly extended each finger one by one, feeling the tendons stretch as he did so, watching muscles slide his green skin, the new spikes moving slightly with them.
If he ever got a limb cut off again, it would heal just like this. Or maybe worse.
Victor shuddered, looking away from the new arm, only to find himself looking at the mirror hanging on his wall. “Christ…” He closed his eyes, fighting down the urge to puke. “I’m an even bigger freak than I was before.”
