“This,” Victor said, crossing his arms over his chest as he hung upside down, “is cheating.”
“Is not,” Julian replied. “In no way is this an offensive use of my powers.”
Victor scowled, narrowing his eyes. “I don’t know. It’s sure offending me. Let me down.”
“Not just yet.” Julian flicked a finger, pilling the sash Victor had tied around his waist free. He snatched it out of the air and wrapped it around his fist. “I win.”
“Not so much, actually,” Victor said, his scowl morphing into a grin as he watched Lazaro dash off with Julian’s sash.
