Zuko feels like he’s going to be sick. All eyes are on the stage, where the actor who is supposed to be him dies under ‘Azula’s onslaught (oh, Azula would burn this place to the ground if she ever saw this).
He knows that this is all pretend, and that these are worse actors than the ones who used to butcher Love Amongst the Dragons, but it’s like seeing all his sins writ large, and seeing his future laid bare.
Zuko has known for most of his life that he might very well die by Azula’s hand.
It still makes him ill to see it played out.
