“Where are my Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs?” Molly demanded, scouring the kitchen high and low for her beloved breakfast food. “There was a whole box last night!”
Karolina rubbed her eyes and started picking up after the girl. “I’m sure they’re here somewhere,” she said soothingly. “Just keep looking.” She started a pot of coffee. “I could make you something to tide you over until you find them,” she suggested.
“But I need them! The box even says they’re part of a healthy, balanced breakfast. Where did they go?” Molly whined, grabbing a chair so she could check the higher cabinets.
Karolina made a mental note to have a talk with the others about how it was time to cut down on Molly’s sugar intake. It would probably mean she was the one in charge of the groceries for a while, but this really was just too much.
