Leslie Dean looked her husband Frank right in the eye and sneered, an expression that her face seemed to be well suited to. Frank had always thought that she had a very attractive sneer. “You don’t actually think Karolina is the mole, do you?”
“Stop looking at me like that. Stranger things have been known to happen,” he said. “Just because you don’t have faith in her loyalty.”
“She’s a little bit of fluff, blown about wherever the wind takes her. ‘Wind’, in this case, being whatever pretty girl has caught her eye, though she will deny it until the stars turn cold.” Leslie snorted. “Foolishness.”
“Like me?” Frank asked, just a little too lightly.
“Exactly like you,” Leslie confirmed.
