The big problem with dating someone who lived on the other side of the country was actually getting to go on a date. Both parties being super-heroes made things even more difficult. One of them being in the Initiative while the other was an X-Man just added to the troubles.
“Everything okay?” Victor asked, reaching up to adjust the webcam.
“Depends on how you define ‘okay’,” Terry said.
“When do you think…?”
“I’m gonna see what I can do about coming to have a look at whoever they’ve got working in California . I should be able to swing a little time with you while I’m there.”
“Okay. Sorry I missed you.”
“Me too. But there’s always next time.”
