The sun shining on Asgard made it look as though the floating city were made entirely from gold. Billy raised a hand to shield his eyes from the glare, and he grinned. “Wow.”
Teddy looked up from the map he’d spread out over the hood of the car and smiled at Billy and his clear enjoyment before returning his attention to working out their rout. “There’s a town near here,” he said. “I figure we can stay there overnight before heading to Nevada to hunt for the old Gamma Bomb test sites…” He looked at Billy again. “You haven’t listened to a word I’ve said, have you.”
“Do you think it would be rude if I flew up there for a closer look?” Billy asked, waving to a god peering at them over the side.
“Probably.”
