Genevieve Abidemi reluctantly opened the door, giving Dramari entrance. “Look,” she said, “I don’t know what you’re looking for, but I’m not it.”
The Inhuman tilted his head slightly, dark eyes sparkling. “If you are not sure what I am looking for,” he asked, “then how can you be sure I am not it?”
The woman’s lips formed a thin line, and her eyes narrowed. “I know who you are.”
“Ah, I am famous!” Dramari chortled. “Madame, I come seeking only knowledge. My journey is ultimately my own. You are but the start.”
“You are one creepy little bugger. Anyone ever tell you that?” Genevieve raked her eyes over Dramari, from the sandals on his feet to the wide brimmed floppy hat perched on his head, a hard glint in her pale blue eyes. She reached up, adjusting the brightly colored scarf that covered her close cropped curly hair.
“In various ways, yes,” Dramari admitted. “I am a Shaman. This is in our nature, you know.”
“Yeah,” Genevieve growled, “I know a thing or two about shamans. Which is why I don’t like them and why you are leaving right now.”
