“I’m tired,” Jono said. “I’m tired and I can’t do this any more.” He looked around at his fellow former New Warriors, his eyes resting finally on Jubilee as he shook his head. “Dwayne got Miranda and Vin killed, and I’m so sick of watching my friends die.” He dug his hands into his pockets, still looking at Jubilee, the one person there that he had been with practically from the beginning, back when he was a kid with no face flying in to America, wondering what the hell he was doing. “Do what you want, but I’m done.”
With that, he turned and walked away.
