“Oh mah Gawd, this place is so tiny!” Bobbi exclaimed as she stepped in to her brother’s dorm room. “They always look so much bigger on TV.”
“It gets worse,” Bobby informed his twin, nodding to the bed less than five feet from the one he was sitting on. “I get to share.”
“Gawd,” Bobbi repeated. “It’s like a shoebox.”
“That’s what Mom said.” Bobby rolled on to his stomach, blowing his bangs out of his face. “She wants me to come home.”
“Screw that,” his sister said flatly. “I like it here.” She flopped onto the other bed, mirroring her brother’s pose. “I fit in.”
“Bobbie Rae, you fit in everywhere. You’re good at that. Anyway, it’s not like you’d have to go back with me.”
“But who would I bug?” Bobbi asked, blue eyes wide. “You could move in with me.”
“And have Mom cut me off, too? Live in Avengers Tower? No thanks, I like my privacy.”
