talked to my mom yesterday for about an hour....i cant afford to go to UCI isnt that great? well maybe my mom can if i get scholarships but whats the odds of that happening right? my mom suggests to go to cal poly pomona for two years then transfer to UCI to get my bachelors and maybe post graduate. whatever it looks like i probably wont be

Hey, I'm not sure about your expected family contribution, but if you get a job during college, then the cost should be really low, right?
Plus, students usually get enough loans until they actually have money to pay them off. I don't think my family had to pay too much for my brother to go to UCI, and he didnt get any scholarships. It's hard to see all your hard work go to waste.
