I'm almost completely done with my Biology coursework now. I've been in a position where I could easily finish in about an hour if I just sat down and worked on it, but I just can't get into the right mindset. I should also study for that chemistry test tomorrow, but no. I can't get into the right mindset for that either ( Read more... )

See, it's moments when I CANNOT seem to quite get in the right mood to finish something when I'll do something like, say, tell myself I can't play anymore Suikoden until I do. Then it gets done fast. >_>;;;

And oh bad group project partners. This is precisely why I loathed working in groups in school (or even in work scenarios, if it's not NECESSARY to work as a group)- people don't take it seriously and NOTHING gets done, where by myself I'd have it finished. :/

H-haha at your first day of work there, though. XD I'M SURE YOU DID FINE no one expects you to know what to do right away after all. I mean like... I think I'm taking it slow to make sure I get everything right for all the little tasks at my new job and everyone says I catch on extremely fast, so. Don't worry yourself too much. |D

And yaaaay for finishing your uni app! now just to work on the CFUD ones, huh?

Ahhh, that's a good tactic XD Sadly I'm not very good at that self punishment thing. ('Oh, I guess a few minutes won't hurt' 'mmm, just a little while longer' 'just a bit more' 'I can get away with a few extra minutes' 'OSHI- I WASTED ALL THAT TIME')

I think I was just unlucky to get the three most unmotivated people in the entire class. Luckily this project is just a practice for the one that actually contributes to our grade or I'd be lololol super pissed.

W-well, I think I was getting the hang of it by the end? (though there was that embarrassing moment where I didn't realise that the tea trolley could unplug from the wall and had wheels so I could move around the ward, which resulted in me getting laughed at by about half the nurses)

...Yes, yes I do. Though AHAHA I just realised the way I wrote my university app was exactly the same as the way I write my CFUD ones. Sit around until inspiration strikes, write a crappy draft, send to beta (teacher), write a new draft, repeat a few times... get a MUCH BETTER app. XD

See, that's why I use the whole "I can't do something I want to do before I do this" tactic, because then if I sit around wasting time, I don't get to do EITHER and then it's :/ so next time I'm more likely to get it done so I can do what I actually WANT to do. XD

Hahaha, well, that's good at least? Hopefully you won't be stuck with them for the actual project thought...

That's good! But like I said no one's expected to know EVERYTHING when they're new to the job, so. |D

Pffffft. Well, now you know why people always half-jokingly compare CFUD apps with college apps? XD;;
