Broots
For a very good summary of The Pretender, I direct you to Miss Parker’s post. This is just Broots’ story.
Broots is a geek through and through. Very little is known about his childhood and family life from the actual series, so most of this is created by me and based on a few people I know. Basically, everyone in the computer lab.
He has an older sister, and two doctor’s for parents. His mum isn’t sure what to do with him, his dad thinks he’s a bit of a disappointed, and his sister tries to pretend they’re not related.
Broots’ best friend is his lap top computer. He can hack into anything and everything and loves writing his own programs to do things that range from re-organizing all of his files alphabetically to opening up all the incoming mail on the schools servers. Since my computer skills stop at CTRL-ALT-DEL, there won’t be too many descriptions of what he’s up to.
Broots wouldn’t notice if the sky fell on him. He would notice if it fell on J.C., his computer.
Broots’ family does not have names, nor will they get mentioned much. Broots has a first name that I picked out for him, that he doesn’t want to share. His laptop’s nickname is J.C. or J. Yes, that’s short for something, and no, I’m not telling what. Broots doesn’t know Miss Parker’s first name, so don’t bug him about it.
Broots worked as an intern with Miss Parker for a year with change. He knows about Broots, Angelo, and Miss Parker, but has very little clue about anything other than that. See above Re: sky falling. Broots has a little trouble seeing that some things that are being done are a bit wrong.
Broots rarely got caught, but every once in a while he did. During the series, Jarod was often able to outwit him, but Jarod was a genius.
Currently, it took two weeks and four FBI agents to chase him out of the Government’s computers. At least, that’s what he says, but he doesn’t lie about computers. He was given a choice, Fandom High, or Juvenile Hall. Every once in a while, he regrets his choice.
