i love my new laptop!

i just bought a new laptop. a compaq pesario. yay!!!!!!!!!

im planning on buying a new laptop within the next month, can anyone recommend a good one or type? i never had a laptop before and im not all that computer savy. i want a good computer but i also want a good deal. i have been looking at compaq presarios and gateways. i hate dell! they suck. <3
