I...have a question for the passengers of this...boat. [She still has trouble with her English and it's heavily accented, but she's trying, at least.]

Are there any of you that can...take the shape of a beast at will? If so...what sort of creature can you become?

And ah...how do you control it?

Unfortunately, It is not something that can be controlled easily.

It does not seem like it would be. Back home, there were many that could do things like this, but they were...not available to talk to.

Bryn is fine. And...well. It's hard to say considering it's not really something people can do back home. I don't really know the real reasons...how or why. Just how it feels. What I do.

In...a way, yes. Misfits are becoming more common as the years pass. As soon as they are flagged, they are brought in and never seen again.

They are not all shapeshifters.

Yes. There was some...questionable footage that was leaked some time ago that made people question the Misfits, made the everyone as a whole turn against them. They were too..'dangerous' to be allowed out in society.

[Now that she thinks about it, it's really rather obvious. She could kick herself for posting this.]

The...first one was spotted in 2025 by the general public. A young boy, around..hmm...maybe eleven or twelve was found running through the streets of New Atlanta. [She hesitates - she's looking over her shoulder. All of this conversation, she almost expects to be hauled away.]

His hands were clenched into fists that were blue with liquid fire. It...caused a mass panic.

These...'abilities' range from pyrotechnics, to telekinesis and metalbending and shapeshifting. There are more, of course, invisibility...things that are supposed to be in movies, yes? But they were real.
