[There is heavy silence on this end when the comm clicks on - Anna’s trying to prepare herself for what she’s about to say (she’s also absolutely terrified of what she’s going to say). There are new people on board apparently, and everyone should be properly warned. She just doesn’t know how to word it, so the end result is an awkward speech, with

Shouldn't what?

Offer yourself up to revenge like that.
*Oh, god, Marco wants to go visit but he knows he can't stop her if she really wants this, so he's going to stay away*

Are... are you all right?

I am alive. [For now.]

What happened, sugar?

I...lost control, yes? Too many things happened...in one night, and...something else took over.
[She sounds a little broken.]
I am very sorry.

ohhhhh yeah.]
Oh oh oh. Oh. You were that cat-thing, huh?
Well...I mean, it really sucked, but if ya didn't mean to do it sweetheart it ain't like I'm gonna go after you.
[Jak's another story, but with any luck he'll be too out of it to see this and consider doing anything. Besides, well...if she didn't mean to, Jak's one of the first people who'd understand that. She sounded sincere enough anyway.]

[Anna is absolutely terrified of Jak and what he's going to do to her.]
Please believe me, I did not mean to do it. I...I am so sorry.

What good do you hope to accomplish with this?

Retribution, revenge.
Justice, maybe?

Have you even considered the potential consequences? What happens if someone takes you up on this? What happens if your basic instinct for survival causes another lapse in control?

That is not going to happen.
[Namely, her will to survive is gone. She feels like the lowest scum of the earth, and the things he says make her feel even smaller, more worthless.]

Anna, I swear to god...there is no good that can come of that. Beating yourself up or letting others hurt you doesn't actually fix anything.
[Bryn gets louder at this point, addressing the boat in general. And yes, Anna, she's on her way over since you so conveniently provided your room and deck number.]
To those of you who might actually be thinking of taking her up on her stupid offer, I can only assume you have no idea how complicated and difficult her situation can be and therefore cannot understand that what happened was not intentional. In short, anyone who wants to accept her offer is going to have to go through me first. Capiche?

[MAYBE SHE DIDN'T THINK THIS THROUGH OKAY. It was done when she was really emotional.
...Crap. Anna should have locked her door :|]
Reply
[Don't you dare lock that door Anna because Bryn will stay out there and wait until it opens again. Hiding away doesn't fix anything either.
And oh look, she's there. Bryn comes striding in, gait purposeful. That she finds Anna in her room alone and not getting beat up makes her pleased, and she mentally breaths a sigh of relief.]
Good. Seems like people had the good sense not to come for you so far.

He wishes he had something more substantial to fight with than his fists, honestly, if someone comes after her, but they'll have to do for now.
He raises a hand.]
Hey.
And of course not. If they're smart they won't come here at all.
