HORTENSE RETURNS!

One of the coolest things about my new residence had been the wild turkey that slept in our cottonwoods. She would fly down around dawn and fly back up around dusk. Sadly, a few days after the snows first came in late October, she disappeared. I'm so happy that our new 2-person, 2-cat, 1-turkey ka-tet is whole again.

You're right -- The Dark Tower series really is due for the Bored of the Rings treatment.

Do they allow turkey hunting around where you are? You should watch out the next time a season rolls around. Or maybe she just "flew" south?
