That is all I can remember before you were taken away from me. All these past months, the memory of your hands on mine has helped me go through the darkest time of my life. You are still alive in my heart, in my soul, in every pore of my skin.
I never believed that danger was upon you. The war had been over for twenty years, your family was allowed to have a complete life. My father didn't quite believe that, and when he acted I had to react.
I even enjoyed it when life seeped out of him.
He had to pay for stealing your hopes. And now I have to pay for daring to live without you.
