I'm back and very suprised to see this.

Will you really move?? Coincidentally, some days ago, a friend recommended Greatest Journal to me and I went straight signing up there and it's SO Livejournal look alike. I really want to move, but I am affraid the server is not stable and will down soon. ><;;

I haven't used it though. Still think maybe I will keep staying here... (ahh icons....)

it is basically 99% the same as LJ because they use the same program (LJ is opensource), the appeal of GJ is that they have no paid accounts (revenue generated by the google ads at their main pages), and thus' all the "paid accounts only" functions on LJ are avaliable for free on GJ...

They've been around since september, and has been pretty stable the whole time. But yeah, I've no idea how long they'll be around ><

I'm banking on the fact that their admin team seems to be decent people who, if they really do have to shut down, will probably give their users sufficient time to back up and move their data.

May be you can have an account on both LJ and GJ?

OMG, your explanation really makes me confused whether I should move or not. I am lazy to set up all the layout and view thingy >_<;; (although I just choose those themes they provided, hehe)... ahh dilemma dilemma... @____@

Yep I already have the account there in GJ since some days ago.. but never really did anything there. Guess I will choose 1 of them, I don't want to mess around with 2 journals..

if it's just the layout you're worried about,
all the themes that are here are on GJ too.
(except the mood themes, there are only a hands full public moond themes there, but you can make your own, and you can use my Tsuba mood theme when I'm done making it)

And even if you've made any customization, all you have to do is copy and paste it into GJ :)

I got it all in tact. Then after watching it in the offic, i just couldn't work. Had to force myself to concentrate.... got home finally. Hate work!!!

I took like close to 200 screenshots... JUST his expressions are SOOO cute!!!!

BTW, the hosting company change the control panel look entirely. It's no longer cpanel? I don't know what happened to the hotlink button. Now EVERYTHING is protected and so all files uploaded now are protected. Like I had to go create an HTML and put the links for the 1121 MS on it, or else I can't download it at all cause of hte hotlink protection.

Wahhhhh is there no more hotlink control button thingy? I want to turn it off!!!!

aaarh, I've no idea what that's either... the bottom still says cPanel, but it looks more like Ensim with a weird skin to me @@;;;

want to launch a support ticket and ask how to turn hotlink protection off?
you'd probably want to delete some file so you're not using 116% of your space tho ^^;
