If I go nuts, do I have to do it quietly?!?

I've hesitated jumping into this for a long, long time. Signed up for it when it was still relatively new, but ignored it's existence for the longest time. Mostly because I already spend so much time online, I'm afraid to get into more stuff that is going to make me stare at the monitor more ( Read more... )

You are a long way from Kansas...

;)

Nice to see you online. I don't get to see many folks from Madison-ways much anymore. Maybe I'll get to visit online with you if you hang out on LJ more.

I don't post as much either but still do some reading and commenting.

See you around

Hey nice to run into you too!! There are some folks floating around yet, I know, but you're right, for the most part they don't spend time here.

One of the challenges I've found here is trying to figure out who's who. Some are pretty obvious, you were one of the tougher, but some bit of persistent reading pegged it. I guess I've always played things pretty straight, so I'll just be me.

I do hope to run into a lot of people tonight! I'm going to end up having a hula skirt of beads! Way too many to just hang around my neck!

Hi, nice to see you here. From my User ID I know you won't have any trouble with who I am :) Tom and I have had progressive "bifocals" for years and I remember it taking about two weeks for him to adjust and somewhat longer for me to. Though I must confess they never got completely easy. I still have to tilt my head up and down sometimes to find the right focal point for something or other but it is better than having a pair for reading, a different pair for my laptop, and a different pair for the tv or driving.

I am very sorry to hear about your audit difficulties and hope it all turns out ok. It does amaze me to hear about all the things people do and accomplish when my own energy levels are so up and down that I really never know whether I will have the energy to do something that I agreed to do well in advance of the date. Of course, I don't tend to take on long term projects like that much any more. But I do enjoy watching others accomplish so much so thanks for posting it all.
