Was planning to make a trip to the Middle East for tickets this week. I suspect Ratatat and The Wrens will both sell out, if upcoming.org is any indication.

Yeah, I'm sort of afraid Ratatat might sell out before I can get tickets. I might go tomorrow myself.

M Ward also sounds good. Given the choice of ToD vs BSS I'm going with BSS, though, even with the drive to Providence.

I'm hell of jealous - I've seen the Wrens twice and both times they were amazing; I bet they'll be awesome at a nice small venue like MED. also I hear Electric Six is INSANE in concert; a friend of mine saw them with Junior Senior (!!!) and said that the lead singer was coked up out of his mind.

Shit, man, I dunno. Never been there before, so I couldn't say. It doesn't seem many other people have figured out "this is probably BSS's last Northeastern US date until 2008" thing yet, so I don't know if there's a huge rush, but then, I don't exactly get down to Providence for many shows. In fact, the only one I did was at a festival.

I haven't been there since 1999, but last I saw Lupo's was definitely not assigned seating. In fact there was no seating at all. Kind of like the Paradise, where there are few balcon seats for fancy folk.
