Is there any new news about Hum recording? I heard rumors, but then I ran into Bill Johnson (of Honcho Overload) and he said that it wasn't happening.

To answer my own question... I took a gander at the Centaur forum to see what was actually said (which was basically Matt saying "We might consider someday recording a song, but not right now cause my studio is fucked up".) Based on that and the fact that Matt's wife just had another baby and the fact that coaching football is more important to Matt now than Hum is I would say that they won't even think of recording until the end of the season of this year (this is what Bill Johnson said, too). I'd say we have a 0% chance of seeing something from them this year.... maybe about a 2% chance to see something from them in the next 2 years... probably about 20% chance for the next five years, but that is probably overly optimistic, hahaha.

I think that Hum fans are so desperate for Hum activity that this is getting blown out of proportion. Not that I can blame them at all. :) I just know that Hum is an extremely low priority for the guys now. But hey, maybe something will come from it eventually and that would be fantastic.
