Yeah, I was impressed with my 8 megapixel digital camera. Really impressed. Then I realized that its not even close to being hot shit, because yesterday I found a two gigapixel image, of course taken with a.... two gigapixel camera. Lets get this straight, people. There are 1024 megabytes in a gigabyte, most standard cameras come with below 12 megapixels, with the exception of the 22 megapixel Mayima and the 39 megapixel Hasselblad. Of course, there is no comfortable in between as we jump from the high 30s to the 1000s.

They are working on projects to create a terapixel camera, used for photography in space and all that.
