Okay, folks. We extended the posting deadline through this Friday, yet I can't help but notice that only a few of you have yet posted.;) I'm hoping lots of you are close to posting and aiming for Friday, but we'll see

I would really appreciate it if you let us post until the end of December. I have been working on my entry, but there's no way I'm going to reach 10,000 words by Friday. Plus, I don't know if and when my beta will have time to look over what I sent her so far.

So, yeah. I vote for the first option.

I vote for the first option - I got blindsided by needing to finish my Yuletide. (Which still isn't finished. >_<) So, I'm not likely to hit the official deadline, but once the Yuletide is done, I'll be able to concentrate on this one.

I think I finally broke the wall of the story, but the chances of me getting it done by Friday, while not nonexistent, are slim--and it won't be as good as it could be if I had until Dec. 31. NaNo killed me ded for a while, and it's taking me some time to get the voices (the good ones!) back.

Aw.:) Well, I will leave posting priviledges open to members for as long as it takes. I'm just trying to get a deadline that will work for as many people as possible, but I certainly still expect some stragglers.:) And I really want to see your entry (assuming you're still doing the one you signed up for!) so I will keep bugging you until you've done it!! (And when I get the "accomplishment" banners made, you will still get one even if you post late *g*)

Well, I'm still working on it, although it's really stalled right now, and NOW I'm actually thinking of the original idea that hit me for this ficathon. Because it's the truly 'scary' thing to write. And if I actually got that written rather than the thing I specifically signed up for? I'd be very satisfied and happy with that. So we'll see. Either way, I will finish one of them, even if I don't manage to do it for this ficathon. And I guess that's the important part.

I checked "let us post through the end of December", though I think I will post it in a week or so. I just can't post my story as early as friday... :/
