A short, 300-some word fic for my bff
soulrevue!!! It's a Sungmin/Reader.... PG-rated.... fluffy thing I wrote quickly cause I had the idea in my head~ >.<
“1...2....3.... GO!”
Leeteuk’s hand moved at of the way. In front of you was Sungmin’s eyes, staring right back into yours. You two had made it to the final round of the staring competition that the Super Junior boys had challenged each other too. You, being Sungmin’s close friend, had joined in as well. Actually, it was all Sungmin’s fault. He had bragged to the other boys about you being a staring contest beast back in the States. They wanted to test this out, so you basically had no other choice but to join.... or else they would have made you buy their drinks.
“Omo, omo, omo! She’s red!” Heechul shouted, pointing at your face. You hadn’t noticed that, staring into Sungmin’s eyes, you were blushing. Dang Heechul! You really wanted to turn your face around in embarrassment, but you couldn’t because you would lose.... and then you would have to pay for everyone.
Sungmin laughed and smiled. Your heart raced, a smile also appearing on your lips. Were his eyes always this kind and gentle? Were his eyes always this alluring.... this intoxicating? Why hadn’t you ever really noticed before? Or maybe you had, but you had never admitted it to yourself?
Sungmin began to come closer to you, eyes still locked onto yours. Your heartbeat continued to race.
What was he doing? What--?
Now his face was only centimeters away from yours. He tilted his head. Your heart froze. His lips connected with yours. Your eyes fluttered closed.
When he pulled away and you regained your senses, you realized that everyone was clapping and cheering. Your eyes met Sungmin’s again. He reached out and took your hand in his, still smiling.
“DRINKS ARE ON MAY!” Heechul shouted happily.
Oh right..... You had lost the game.... Your smile disappeared for a split second until you felt Sungmin gently squeeze your hand. He took out his wallet and handed some money to Leeteuk (because Heechul couldn’t be trusted with it).
“You won because I cheated,” Sungmin winked and then leaned over to the table to whisper in your ear, “But I think we should cheat more often from now on...”
