Oh dear god. D: I met a basset/german shepherd mix in a shelter once - saddest thing I've ever seen. Her short little legs were SO bowed from trying to hold up her huge, huge GSD body. That was just a dog that should never have been born. :(:(:( I can't imagine that GSD/dachshund pups would be healthy and happy.

My friend's Newfoundland got pregz from their other dog... a dauschund. He must have used a ladder or something.
