Unfortunately, I did not have my camera while I was getting ready yesterday.  Otherwise, there would be lots of step-by-step pictures of the costume-making process.

I saw a how-to video for making new!Uhura's outfit, so I went with that (despite not having a sewing machine or decent sewing skills).  Once upon a time (in high school), I had an old-

Thanks! Homemade costumes are fun! I'm not sure how we're ever going to be able to top this year. LOL.
