Dean giving Cas his music. That's precious cargo, y'know? And a move towards trusting Cas when he's so beleaguered by Lucifer's taunts. Very tenuous rope to tread there, but such a big move for Dean. And Cas couldn't be braver.

Lucifer's line about Cas being a width of a thin gold thread away from me is scarily good.

Irreplaceable old cassettes, and he's entrusting them. It's Dean's way of saying he'll be back and he expects Castiel to be okay. Even before the line at the end, I hoped to convey that--Dean is trying to show him he believes in Castiel's strength.

Poor Cas, naturally Hallucifer plays to every worst fear.

This is absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed it very much. Love that Dean gave him the tapes, that the point is that he doesn't have spare copies, and LOVE what Dean says at the end.
