It seems to me like they'd still be uncertain with each other, and figuring out how does Cas fit now. Castiel still likely carrying a lot of guilt, even if he knows Dean accepts him, but not secure of how far Dean will accept him now.

Whereas Dean, as we've seen in canon, takes an almost practical approach--if this is how Castiel can get away from Lucifer for a bit and rest, then just sit down already. They'll deal with the rest some other time. Doesn't mean all the issues are resolved but I think that's a very Dean thing--get past the crisis, save the person he cares about who's in trouble. Do that first. And since it's a dream, it's peaceful and Dean's not feeling a sense of peril--Castiel is.

LJ sadly did not implement the tissue dispensing feature with the last release (instead we got a pointless and unattractive scissors graphic for cut tags lolwhut). A voucher for tissues on sad fics might be more useful!
