I'm going to be seriously put out if the ganglion in my wrist puts paid to my rapier fighting plans, the same way that my neck did to my plan of being a stickjock.

Definitely. The worst time was when they were both so bad that I couldn't even hold a book and read. That lasted for two insanely tortuous weeks. Although, six weeks without being able to do crosswords or sudoku puzzles (due to not being able to hold a pen/pencil) was also incredibly hard.
