I am reminded now why I don't ever use mood themes... it's because I always fill in my own. But now that I'm using this sweet Baccano! theme (
maho_kiwi) I guess I'll have to make an exception.
This is the long-awaited Japanese entry of justice. Prepare yourself.
things that surprised me about Japan:
-There are no trashcans anywhere, even though Japan is remarkably clean. They just carry it with them. wtf?
-Everyone rides their bikes on the sidewalks and it gets kid of annoying. But I don't blame them because I wouldn't want to ride my bike in the street there, either.
-People really do wear those SARS masks all the time when they're sick.
-Japanese people really are excited to talk to you in Japanese, and they will be impressed by your knowledge and that you can write kanji.
-Heated toilet seats are really, really great. Squat toilets still suck.
-Hot milk tea from vending machines is DELICIOUS.
-No napkins in restaurants. Everyone carries mini packets of tissues with them.
-Vending machines. Are. EVERYWHERE.
