Oh, the "gray" bit does have a big tie in to your post. A lot of those drama queens out there are drama queens because they can't see in gray. Clinically, I mean--those two things go together like water and wet. Not coincidentally, "gray" was also one of the hardest life lessons for me to learn along the way, and one of the most useful coping tools I've got.

I agree with gray - quite a lot, because I've never fit into a box. And I also hated homework with a vengeance. We spend X amount of hours in school, and I have to go home and do more of your work because - WHY? In some (very few) cases, I could understand, but in most, it was just more of the same, and not expanding our knowledge at all. Time waster ( ... )

My experience is skewed. I tend to hang with the exceptions and avoid the rules. :-)
