Concerns about my duplication

It seems like some people are concerned about the whole duplication thing, that it's somehow bad for me -- or that I should "switch off" to bring my more superpowered Slaying half to do more babysitting and have my more reading, web-designing, and mommy half presumably go out patrolling or something

I guess I just re-read David Brin's Kiln People and started thinking about how the golem selves get sent out into the world to do various things, but there was always some sort of re-integration involved, and that's what got me wondering about your current operating model.

Haven't read the book. We dropped the spell yesterday and now cast it again today, so I think I'm integrated up. I leave it to Max to handle those sort of technical detail thingies.

Actually, it's pretty lively here. I've been going out a lot with Bridgid -- I get to scare vanilla moms at the supermarket and talk loudly about my partner, which is fun. On the other hand... brownies!

You know what's a huge relief -- not worrying about slaying! Seriously, although Brigid is quite a handful, it's still almost like a vacation just not thinking about vampires or aliens or stuff.

Cool it with the Dr. Who thing, though. The whole geek thing left a bad taste in my mouth, and I'm not eager to get home to that. How about the L Word?
