Random drive-by, X-Files related

Jul 08, 2006 23:08

Hi. The shrink-wrap is off season six of The X-Files. I'm far more entertained than I expected to be. Even though it's true what they say, the mythology makes less and less sense...

But I had completely forgotten just how gleefully, utterly, squee-filled the episode )

Ah yes, I think this was where I started to lose interest but would randomly tune in only to find myself making a wtf-face. Oh X-Files. Sigh.

I will be in the city tomorrow (ie Sun) btw to see peoples and Pirates.

It's remarkable how much I love that ep. And I had honestly forgotten the effect it could have on me. It's like a fanfic, a really glroriously well-done, cracked AU fanfic.

It would be nice to see you but I'm not sure I can do today.

S'ok we spent most of the day seeing Pirates (yaaar!). It is like an AU fic. Which is what makes it kind of awesome.

Mmmm, I adore this ep! The attempt at swinging score, too...

Oh, and how could I forget that funny/ouch moment at the end, with Mulder's confession and Scully's eyeroll. *g*

Because if you look at the expression on his face: he was being serious, and Scully thought he was loopy on meds.

Oh, I know. But on the other hand, Mulder knew that Scully would take it that way: that was why he could say it. ;-)

That's one of the episodes I saw (well, some of it anyway.)

Have to do something about that at some point.

After Farscape :)

That's one of my favorite episodes. I still think you should quit after the next season, but I won't be responsible for what happens if you don't.

You're like the Ancient Mariner of X-Files episodes. Hee. "Beware season 8 and 9, beware..."

I'm fairly certain you're right but I just need to see it all through.
