Oh! Well, do what's best for you. I'll be here from time to time. Was thinking about your previous post, in fact... but my brain doesn't function all that well at the moment.
This probably means I'll be around commenting on your lj more often--I need a break from having to maintain this, not from the people I meet on livejournal. :)
It's my nature. I just feel...obligated to post if I'm here and that seems counterproductive at this point. And I'd really like more mental space for my fiction writing.
Hope you're feeling well and your brain recovers soon.
To be honest, I don't read the aggregate flist anymore, I go directly to people's journals. It feels more like...them...that way, and I can catch up on a few days' worth of posts and get a better sense of what they're up to. It works out, since some post a lot and some rarely.
I certainly understand the need to distance yourself, especially to focus on your writing. Good luck with it and I look forward to seeing your fiction!
Thanks! Of course now watch, I'll probably be hit with massive writer's block. However, if that happens I could read my flist. Or try starting a different project.
Or, you know, turn off my computer and go for a walk or watch TV or read or something. :)
It's funny how that works. It seemed better to make it official, then I won't be tempted at all to post just for the sake of posting. It's how my brain works. And then maybe I will make more progress on some fiction-writing-shaped things.

Ah. Obligation is horrible.
Yes, I sometimes go directly to the journals, too. It does feel more personal.
