シド ＠ 東京ドーム YEAR END CLIMAX 2010 ～全てのシドへ～
So, on Saturday was SID's first Tokyo Dome live! :D
Due to unforseen post office searching failure, kazzeh and myself arrived at Tokyo Dome a little later than we expected, so the Ranbu no Melody poster thing had already started. So we opted to go buy some goods first since it would be better to get that over and done with. We found this random balcony that was selling goods and the line wasn't so long, so we didn't have to wait that long. I'm pretty sure the lady who served us was going to cut us or something because we were both like "Oh this and this... this too, oh and this one. Yeah and that one!" |D I bought my stuff first so I was waiting for Shii, but then I realised the lady forgot about one of the tote bags that I was getting for travertineskies, so after Shii bought her stuff I was like "HI :D Can I get another bag?" and the lady was like "8D;;;;;;;;". So she was probably glad when we finally moved on, lol.
After we were both xxxxx yen poorer, we went to walk around the Dome City for a bit.
Then we found the ~real goods stand, and the line was seriously like super super long so I'm glad we somehow stumbled upon that weird little balcony area because I'd seriously hate to line up like 3 hours or something for some goods. :x
We wandered around and found the gate where we were supposed to enter, then headed to find lunch! After some really good tenzaru, it was more Dome City loitering and people watching. We were trying to find the purikura machines, and ended up finding these really good cosplayers!
The girl who was cosplaying Nyan had it down pat - she was amazing. So after the photo, me and Shii were fanning the girl a lot lmfao. She was soo gorgeous! *O* Enough fanning for now, haha. But afterwards we did manage to find a purikura machine, and waited about 40 minutes for it so we just watched people who joined the line, and there were about three Nyan cosplayers there too. Lots of wandering around killing time, until it was about 3:20ish that we decided to hang at the Gate 25 and we did even more people watching. We saw this guy with legs that could rival SNSD's, no joke.
We had Arena seats which meant we were on the floor area, but still weren't so sure whereabouts it was. We go in, flail, then found our seats which turned out to be super close to the walkway on Shinji's side.

The live didn't start until 6pm, so we had a lot of time and by now we were pretty expert in killing time. I was really hungry so I kept eating but the food was expensive so I was crying a little :'( A lot of people were screaming when they found out they were sitting right near the walkway and there was this one security guy who kept giving people dirties and ~exasperated looks lmao. So, 6pm rolled around and the live started...

...with Ajisai! :D Wooow it was so beautiful, and being able to hear it live. ;_; Then they played Alibi!! Clothes wise, I only really remember Nyan's clearly because it was so wtf. /facepalm Nyan clearly enjoyed having that little cape thing because he said he ran up and down the stage with it many times, and the weird armour vest thing. Later when Nyan took the cape off the shoulders from his shirt's shoulders also ~conveniently fell down so me and kazzeh were laughing at him. 8D He also had this loooong earring with feathers on the end that were dangling everywhere. Shinji came down to our walkway many times and basically everytime he did I messed up with the furi because I was too busy looking at him. /shot BUT I STILL CAN'T REMEMBER WHAT HE WAS WEARING. D: Aki was wearing something white/black, and Yuuya was all in white.
Next was Dear Tokyo which hyped everyone up but we were both expecting this song anyway lol. Nyan held his mike out to the audience several times so we'd sing the parts for him, which was pretty fun! I think Nyan came down our walkway during this time? He was so so so close ;___; (Nyan is my favourite member) so I was probably flailing all over the place when he came over hahaha.
There was a small MC after this and I completely forgot what they said so moving on, cosmetic was the next song played and they had some fairly weird acrobatic people projected onto the screens around the stage. Next was Monokuro no Kiss = Shinji with acoustic guitar 8D 8D 8DDDDDDDDD then was Yuukan Collection (Yuukan? Yuuwaku? idk but whatever I think you'll know what song I'm refering to lol). After that was Rain, and the screens had some funky ~*rain effect happening so some screens Nyan had like this CG rain on him, and some didn't. After these kind of un-furiable songs, each member of SID had to do a brief intro kind of thing (一言). Nyan was standing near Shinji and he's like "....Sooo, let's hear from..... AKI!" and Aki sort of gave Nyan this "FML WHY ME" look HAHAHAHA.
Aki was basically like "HI~~ TOKYO DOME!!!! I've waited 10 years to say this. TOKYO DOOOOME~~!" XD And Aki being Aki, talking is not his thing but he still made it haha. Next, Nyan was still standing close to Shinji and he's like "OKAY NEXT IS YUUYA :D :D :D". Yuuya gave an analogy about baseball and Tokyo Dome - he feels like he's finally hit the "Home Run", being able to perform there. Yuuya told us all to "Never give up on our dreams" because one day, like Yuuya, all our hard work will pay off too. ;w;
Nyan: Okay so that was it from all the members, now it's my turn.

Nyan's turn was him yelling GINGIN! at everyone |DDDDD Then he introduced the next song - Nigatsu. He said it was a song he wrote for his younger brother who got married recently wishing their happiness; music by Shinji and lyrics by him. It was interesting, the thing I remember the most about the song was the bass. They had the lyrics flash up on the screens as they did the song, but I can't remember anything. (Sorry I have a bad memory ;_;) Following Nigatsu was Higasa (beautiful as always) and then Aikagi, yay :D
There was a small intermission when they changed, so we watched this SNN - SID News Network thing which was some "fake" news program hosted by two Caucasians "Chris" and "Crystal" (lmao). They dubbed over them in Japanese, which made it even more hilarious.
Crystal: Now to talk about the big hits of 2010! First of all, character!
Then they showed this VTR of them "interviewing" people on the street with the "character" mosaic'd out and then some kid ran off with it. → Produced by Yuuya: Colour Cone strap!
Aki's hair tie gomu was "ORIGINALLY 29 000 YEN BUT HAS BEEN REDUCED 1200 YEN FOR THE DOME!", then it was Nyan's curry and Shinji's Negi Pen VTR was "Hardbank's representative: Wan-san" (I don't know how familiar you are with Softbank's ads, but there's the family and the dog is Jiro) so Shinji was dubbing for the dog to introduce his pen. It cut to Chris, who had this "wtf" look on his face, and then he said "うさんくさい" (dodgy, shady etc.) LMAO
Uso started, and the members came out with a costume change. Shinji came out with this huge fur thing around him like some posh wife, Aki had some black vest with some sparkly shit aaaaand no shirt on underneath, Yuuya was all black and Nyan. NYAN. Waist up he was like some sailor complete with the hat and stripey shirt (very cute) but waist down was some kind of nightmare. He had these really baggy grey pants on reminiscent of granny pants but according to Nyan they made his legs look "long". k Nyan. He wore these sparkly boots as well. |DDDD Shinji and his fur visited the walkway again, so everyone in that general vicinity went crazy and saku'd and furi'd at him etc. Nyan to Aki: Wow. Your clothes... they're mostly person (his *~*~flesh). Nyan to Shinji: Wow. Your clothes... it's mostly animal. Nyan to Yuuya: Wow. Your clothes.................. stylish. Then Yuuya was like WTF D: at him, haha. Then they played chapter 1 (:D!!)
Nyan: THIS IS THE LAST PART! ARE YOU READY TOKYOOOOO~? ~*~RANBU NO MELODY!!
No one really knew what to do with their hands so Nyan had to lead for a bit and tell us what to do, and after that it was okay. Moving on, next was Natsukoi! :DDDD I love how energetic this song is, everyone gets so hyped up *O* Then next was Drama, and streamers busted out from somewhere so all of us towards the front had some mad fight for streamers. The girl in front of me grabbed the streamer the same time as me, but then she snatched it out of my hand lol :( Oh well, between me and the girl next to me about 10 streamers fell between us so she was giving some out to people and some guy came and nicked one anyway lol. We kept waving them during one way too.
Soo, they went off stage and then everyone started yelling for encore. I was immersed in trying to roll up my streamers (and failed) and tbh our area was pretty dead in terms of yelling haha. Skipping ahead, it was the 金曜シンジショー (Friday Shinji Show) again! Except this time it was like "last episode" - "『僕と友人と敗北感』(最終回)" (Basically... Me, my friend and a sense of defeat (Last Episode)). Shinji said it was the "last" because he was finally at the Dome. :'D His shirt said "永遠" (Forever) and there was some point when Shinji said "FOREVERRRRR~~~" in an over dramatic voice which was really funny. The song this time was basically about from the time he started guitar (with the janken story which lead him to be left with the guitar) and how his mum said he sucked, and his friend also thought he sucked :( So to "show" his friend, he became dedicated to the guitar and finally, got to play at the Dome. I got a bit teary, ngl. We got to sing this song again with him (the chorus)~ Right at the end, he whips out a can of Ohta Issan; "いい薬です！" (It's good medicine!) and he threw it into the crowd :o Shinji being Shinji, he made a big show of ~*~*disappearing off stage XD
A little after this, this Christmas jingle starts playing, and some people in the stands started screaming but I couldn't really see what was happening until SID came back out in these "sleighs" which were just cars driven by some dude in sunnies. |D Aki and Yuuya shared a car - they'd changed again by this point. Aki was wearing a white shirt (which he later removed) and Yuuya had a checkered shirt and vest. Shinji and Nyan shared a car, and Shinji was wearing a hat and vest and SANTA NYAN. /cry There was like a little stage set up in two sections facing the stands, so all of us in the arena part had to face that way but it was still too far away so I resorted to looking at the screens instead.
Nyan was like calling out to all the guys in the Dome, "ARE THERE ANY GUYS HERE? ARE YOU GUYS GINGIN?" oh Nyan. They played an acoustic version of Mascara, then Nyan let Yuuya introduce the next song because it was "his song, the first song that he wrote". Acoustic version of Hoshi no Miyako was so gorgeous ;______; ♥ Afterwards, Nyan talked a little and he said "If anyone asks what you did for Christmas (or something like that anyway), tell them you saw Santa (HIM FFFUUUU). If they ask where he came from, say he came from your armpit. If they ask how he came, tell them by a little car." 8D;;;;; Then he proceeds to tell us how he bought the sack from Toys R Us LMAO. In the sack were all these signed balls that were thrown out to people, but it was mostly to the stands/people at the edge of the arena setting so nothing was really thrown our way. :(
When they got back on stage, Nyan had taken off his Santa coat so he was wearing a sleeveless white shirt with a black bowtie and kept his Santa hat ft. feathers on. They played smile, followed by Junkan! They started the beginning of it when Nyan says "Wait wait, isn't this for member introductions?" so we did! :D We yelled for Yuuya first, and in between he was like "懐かしい！" because I guess it's been a while XD (They didn't do it at Saitama) "Ah! This feels great!" Next was Aki, then Shinji. We got to do the Ohta Issan one! :D Shinji: It's been a little while, so let me explain. When I say Ohta, you reply with Issan. LMAO even I bet everyone there knew it anyway hahaha. Ohta Issan call complete with Shinji's weird flailing/turns XD Last was Nyan~ Then they played Yell and then Memai!
He did a short MC here. He said the staff asked him if he enough sleep and rest before the live, but in fact he couldn't sleep, all he could think about was the Dome live. He felt like he was getting smaller and smaller in the darkness when he closed his eyes. But he felt much better after getting here, because he had the support of the other three members and everyone in the Dome. At this point, Aki was shedding some ~manly tears. Shinji looked really teary too and then they panned to Yuuya and he was too. After all the manly tears, they played hikari (the last song) and this giant disco ball-esque thing came down from above the stage.
After that, they were running all over the stage throwing out water bottles, picks or drumsticks in Yuuya's case. Aki came down the walkway (he had removed his shirt by this point) and then on the way back turned to the camera and struck a pose and blew a kiss at the camera so everyone screamed lol. Shinji came by and threw a pick near where I was standing but it landed behind me so I witnessed two girls battling it out to get the pick, and the girl who didn't get it sort of wailed and then buried her face in her hands. D: Yuuya came by afterwards and threw a stick in the direction of a girl waving her Yuuya fan from Saitama and then another towards the middle of the arena. During some point in time Aki yelled "I LOVE YOU!!!!!" out to the Dome without a mike, aww. ♥
Finally, they each said their thanks/goodbyes. Aki went first, and he was like "I really don't want to leave... but we will meet again! You guys were awesome!" ;_; and he possibly had a cry but I can't remember. Can't really remember what Shinji said, but he thanked everyone for a great live and etc~ I think by this point I was putting my towel into good use hahaha. Yuuya: I really happy to have played at the Dome, I'm really happy to be in SID. DAWWWWWW.
Nyan was like crying 4eva by this point so he all made us yell for him before he could talk. "I've been yelling out "Tokyo!!" all this time, when this is Tokyo Dome! I feel like such a beginner at this... to make up for it I'll say it a few more times!" so he just kept yelling TOKYO DOOOOOME so we'd yell back. XD At the very end, he made everyone silent by putting a finger to his lips and yelled out "愛してまーす!" (I love you!) without a mike. :3
Then he left the stage, and the Dome went dark and then all the notices of the release of the Document Graph/album/tour/everything to make everyone broke etc. came up on the screens and all the info is on sidnad anyway so I don't have to type it out here.

Shinji looked really teary too and then they panned to Yuuya and he was too. After all the manly tears, they played hikari (the last song) and this giant disco ball-esque thing came down from above the stage.
After that, they were running all over the stage throwing out water bottles, picks or drumsticks in Yuuya's case. Aki came down the walkway (he had removed his shirt by this point) and then on the way back turned to the camera and struck a pose and blew a kiss at the camera so everyone screamed lol. Shinji came by and threw a pick near where I was standing but it landed behind me so I witnessed two girls battling it out to get the pick, and the girl who didn't get it sort of wailed and then buried her face in her hands. D: Yuuya came by afterwards and threw a stick in the direction of a girl waving her Yuuya fan from Saitama and then another towards the middle of the arena. During some point in time Aki yelled "I LOVE YOU!!!!!" out to the Dome without a mike, aww. ♥
Finally, they each said their thanks/goodbyes. Aki went first, and he was like "I really don't want to leave... but we will meet again! You guys were awesome!" ;_; and he possibly had a cry but I can't remember. Can't really remember what Shinji said, but he thanked everyone for a great live and etc~ I think by this point I was putting my towel into good use hahaha. Yuuya: I really happy to have played at the Dome, I'm really happy to be in SID. DAWWWWWW.
Nyan was like crying 4eva by this point so he all made us yell for him before he could talk. "I've been yelling out "Tokyo!!" all this time, when this is Tokyo Dome! I feel like such a beginner at this... to make up for it I'll say it a few more times!" so he just kept yelling TOKYO DOOOOOME so we'd yell back. XD At the very end, he made everyone silent by putting a finger to his lips and yelled out "愛してまーす!" (I love you!) without a mike. :3
Then he left the stage, and the Dome went dark and then all the notices of the release of the Document Graph/album/tour/everything to make everyone broke etc. came up on the screens and all the info is on sidnad anyway so I don't have to type it out here.
