I know LJ has a big problem with spam, so reacting to potential for spam is important. It's good they fixed it pretty quickly.

Yeah I know, I've had spammers on my blog, but I'm still annoyed. It's not like I was posting any weird links - it was all social media sites, well known ones, that should not trigger as spam.

yeah but they probably have it set to any links. Plus even social media well known sites can be used for spam.

Other people posted links too, as many as or even more than I did. I really don't get why it blocked me and not them!

I was going to make a crafting friending meme, but now there's a bunch of friending meme's floating around so maybe I'll wait lol. They are addicting!

That reminds me, I should probably write up an intro post lmao.

I stopped watching Falling Skies after I accidentally missed the season one finale. But ew, time jumps! I hate when shows jump ahead by one or two years and then it doesn't work out so you're like WHY DID YOU TIME JUMP?

Yeah I had some ideas for friending memes too but now it doesn't seem necessary. ^^

FS is one of those shows I can take or leave, I just watch it because of the aliens basically. The characters are very underwhelming. I hate time jumps too, and especially when they do it right during a pivotal moment!

I read your brief info. I'm a little OCD.

I still hope Jon Snow is alright. I haven't read the books yet. I love Tyrion standing up for Sansa and saying he isn't going to rape her.

I love Dany. I know some LJ friends on my f-list, don't like her or could care less about her.

I'd actually be fine with Jon dying, but I don't think he will - I'd prefer if Ygritte lived, but I'm pretty sure she'll die. :/

I love Dany too but I'm worried it's all getting to her head a bit? Also I don't like her trusting Daario, and that final scene was just soooo uncomfortable. She's still my favorite but the lead she had over my other favorites is closing.

She might who knows. We don't know Ygritte will die.

Yeah? Daario , that guy who cut the heads off the two guys that he was working with before? Yeah. He seems a little sketchy to me. Like there's something a little off about him but I don't know what exactly. Aww. She still my favorite.

Theon isn't in the third book at all (he shows up in a later book and we get a short summary of what he's been through through dialogue/memories), but that probably wouldn't work for a TV-format (although Barristan left King's Landing is s1 and then we didn't see him again until he met up with Dany this season...). So the showrunners decided to show us all the flashback material about what Theon's been through.
I really dislike the torture scenes, so I think that was a crap decision.

Ramsay Snow is a psychopath, like legit Criminal Minds type psychopath except with power over other's since this is a medieval setting. So his motivation is that he's criminally insane.

Yeah I know, I read that somewhere, but it was just really excessive how much of it they showed. Half the scenes would have sufficed, and that whole "I'm going to help you escape - no wait, psych!" thing was dragged out too long as well, screentime is precious on this show and that was a complete waste of it.

But he's connected to Roose Bolton somehow? Who was Robb's advisor or something? I never gave him a second though, he looked like he got passed up for the role of Stannis and was a glorified extra, I don't even remember him having any lines.

I think they should have shown none of it. It was bad enough reading short flashbacks, I didn't need multiple scenes showing it! Stupid writers.
Although I do love Iwan Rheon.

He's Roose Bolton's bastard son! :)
The Bolton's live in the Dreadfort and is one of the more powerful families in the north. Historically, they've had a bloody rivalry with the Starks. And he was kinda an advisor, all the lords from the north and the riverlands that sided with Rob got to go to his war meetings and advice him, since their men were fighting his war.
Roose and Ramsay were both supposed to be introduced in the second season, but they postponed that because lol way too many new characters already...

Well depending on his future role in the story I can maybe understand showing it if it's to make him more likable (because lets face it, this is pretty much the only way to get anyone to sympathize with him after him taking Winterfell and killing two innocent boys to pass off as Rickon and Bran), but yeah, I would have preferred any version of it that was less in any way.

See, I didn't get that about them being a powerful family AT ALL, I feel like this was barely mentioned. And why would he be an advisor to Robb if they were rivals? He wasn't actually in s1-2 at all? That explains why I don't remember him from them, then! They really should have introduced Roose earlier and more clearly and then have Ramsay come as a surprise, atleast then his reveal would have meant something. Now it was like "oh he's the ... something of ... that someone I ... think I've seen around? Maybe? *SHRUG*".
They serious fucked this bit up.

Did you comment too much? That is really strange!

Loved the GoT finale quite a bit...
I'm realyl surprised I'm loving the Bran storyline as much as I am.

No! I made ONE comment, got the suspended thing, tried to make another comment because my brain basically just went "well that's bullshit, I don't accept that!" and ofc it didn't work, but I definitely got suspended after my first comment. Super weird!

I'm still finding Bran the most boring, sadly, but I did love him meeting up with Sam. And then I was like "BUT! Can't you just stop by Castle Black for just one minute to see Jon? I NEED A STARK REUNION THIS SEASON, ANY STARK REUNION!". *Sigh*
