I got my new glasses. I ... think I hate them. Comfort-wise they seemed fine at first but have become increasingly horrible and painful all evening to the point where I can barely stand to keep them on anymore. And looks-wise they're WAY too big, like those comically oversized joke-glasses - I mean I wanted bigger ones but these are just too big,

I had a pair of glasses I didn't like once and they let me exchange them - not sure if that works the same way everywhere though. If not, you might get used to them. I thought the ones I have now were too bulky at first, but now I like them. Plus, they don't pinch the sides of my head, which is awesome.

Also, I didn't like the first few episodes of American Horror Story Asylum either, but trust me, it gets a lot better. (Still annoyed that we never got a continuation of the season one storyline though, gaaaahh)

I can understand not wanting to make a fuss, but if you're not happy with them, you have the right to change them. Maybe just stick it out for a while longer to make sure one way or another.

I hope you'll get used to your glasses or that you can exchange them/adjust them if you don't get used to them. It's such an important aspect of both your functioning (being able to see) and your appearance, that you should feel comfortable with them.
