I thought that the double-agent thing was just a lie she made up to fix that weird situation. Is she ACTUALLY not on SHIELD's side? D:

Well in the second (?) episode she's seen texting someone on her phone saying "I'm in" and it's implied she's talking to that organization they've mentioned (can't remember the name but they're all about working against Shield/what Shield does). Clearly she is or will be ~conflicted about it and end up on Team Shield eventually anyway so it's just unnecessary and annoying.
