Alright, I've come to the decision that I need to be more spontaneous in life. I'm too responsible (lol it has it perks and its flaws). But I want a change of scenery in life. I was thinking all yesterday about my goals and what "I" want. How am "I" going to live my life ( Read more... )

lol, i'll keep the basketball team in mind. But there's more than one team in california right? well the other ones aren't that important anyway.

Dont come to my city, you'll hate it lol. I live in Bakersfield. There is nothing here, and I mean nothing. The highlight of the weekend is the damn mall.

lol, oh girl that's kind of where I live now. I've never lived in a "fast paced" city. So i'm just looking for someplace warm all year round, and has fine men in the area lol.

We have some fine mens here, espcially on the east side lol. It is pretty warm here all year around. The lowest it gets is in the 60's and thats at night.

well i live in southern cali, where it's at. if you want to move down here, don't move to la. it's way to expensive and the part you can afford you'll probably die, get mugged, get annoyed with the large amounts of minorites, or live in the ghetto. *lol* i'm exaggerting of course, but i'd say live in the valley which is pretty afforable and u can just sit in about 2 hours of traffic to get to la. *lol*. or you can move out by me in the i.e (inland empire) which is decently affordable, it's just hot and everybody and their momma is moving out my way because of all the high prices of la. it's not really cheap though. u can find a good 1 bedroom apt for 700-850 in a good area. if you're trying to find a house you're gonna need a cool $400,000...for an already lived in place *lol*. the houses out here are high but cheaper than la *lol*, so i'm gonna buy a condo for now.

you'll do fine out here. get a job that at least pays you 35,000 (15-17 an hour) and you can live comfortably. :) you can always crash at my place

Oh, honey LA wasn't even in my game plan. LOL But what cities are in the "inland empire". I really don't care about commuting to L.A. I actually don't care if i'm there at all lol. I just want to be able to make a weekend trip to the beach every now and then, enjoy sunny weather and fine cali men LOL.

But I'm not looking for a house right away. Just my own little apartment. As far as a job, thats why i'm waiting to get more experience as a paralegal, and finish my bachelor's degree. Out in california some paralegal's average about 45,000$ a year. So i'll be okay on 45,000$ right? lol

I want to change up my life just because I do the same old thing...my life is predictable and it sucks. I'm going to work on that over the summer. Anyway, California...boo! I hate the heat and I heard the pollution is ass for real, but at last if you like heat than go. I want to live on the east coast, but I don't like the idea of living in NY because of pollution, too many people, and they are rude. However, I do like all the fashion, diversity, BROADWAY, etc. I also don't want to live in Boston, MA either. Right now I'm feeling Washington, DC or Seattle, WA...I'll see after grad school because I'll most likely live there after I finish school that's why I'm going to grad school on the east coast. Sorry for my life story, lol.

Girl, I heard Seattle is really nice. But its too up north for me, and that goes back to the cold weather thing.. I'm trying to avoid cold weather. But I thought about N.Y I'd like the idea of living in a big city. That'll be fun. But it gets cold in the winter, I don't like coldness.. so that left me with Cali (and not L.A either). Cali just seems nice to me.

I know THAT meleka! But you know I really have a strong passionate dislike for cold weather ;/. And Jersey has cold weather lol. So if I do move to cali, YOU CAN ALWAYS come crash at my place if you decide to vacation of the west coast lol.

I live in California, too. Sacramento.. the state capitol. I like it because it's not TOO big like LA but it's also not some small hick town. It's not bad. I've been here my whole life, but it does get HOT in the summer in cali so you should keep that in mind. hot on the east coast is like 80 degrees. hot over here means up to 110+ sometimes.

Another Cali head!! I had more of them on my list than I thought lol. But girl, I LOVE hot weather. I'm anemic, so my body temperature is way lower than normal.. so i'm actually cool with hot weather. It makes me happy lol. But wasn't interested in L.A to live, maybe visit, but definitely not to live.
