Alas, I am home.
Toronto was fun. Friday I worked 11-4, so my parents picked me up right after work to go to T.Dot. We checked into the hotel, and then we went swimming and stuff, and watched a movie on payper view. Since I was in a new place and hadn't adjusted to it, I didn't fall asleep until around 2-ish. Then I had to be up at 6:15 to meet everyone in the lobby, and then we went to Newmarket. We stopped at Timmies for breakfast, and then played our first game at 8:30. Then me and mom and dad went to the mall for a while. Then I played again at 12:30, back to the mall, then played at 3:30. We went back to the hotel (which was half an hour away from where we were actually playing soccer), and got ready, and the team went out for dinner. 17 of us went to Jack Asters, and there were so many people they had to put tables together in the bar. It was fun. Then we went back to the hotel, and watched tv for a while then to sleep. Got up this morning at 7:15, but I laid in bed until 8:00-ish. Then I got mostly ready for my game, packed up my stuff, then we went to Timmies again for breakfast then we played again at 10:30.
Game One: I got an assist. I was on defence, passed the ball to Becky, and Becky scored. Did something crazy to my foot. It felt like I pulled a muscle in, and it hurt so much the rest of the day to walk, take my socks and cleats on and off, and to pass the ball wit the outside of my foot. Oh well.
Game Two: (defence) Was tripped, and apparently I looked like a demented dog, and that it was only something you'd see on Ripley's Believe It or Not. haha....Sam is so weird. The other team tried to say I was "diving for the ball". Yes. I was diving for the ball with my head. Logical.
Game Three: (Midfield) I don't remember much about that game. But I do remember some chick wouldn't let it go that Colleen got the ball away from her, and started being, and saying really rude things. They were from Sault St. Marie. Stuck up jerks.
Game Four (Midfield): Rough game. We played Soo again. They are so incredibly lippy and jerkish. Holy crap. I tripped a girl by accident (her name was Robyn, too). But it was all good. She was fine, and knew it was accidental. Then, near the end of the game, I was covering from girl, and had her cornered, and she tried to get around me, and couldn't, so she decided it would be fair to grab hold of both my jersey and the tank top I had on underneath, and hold me back that way. I kicked the ball out, after yelling "Let go of my jersey, bitch!" Oh my god, their reaction was so funny. They were all "She didn't need to say that! It's just a game." Well, when you kick my goalie in the face, and take the ball from her when she has it in her hands, blaintenly trip me and a crap load of other people on my team, then have to nerve to yank on not only my jersey, but on Victoria's jersey, too, I get a little pissed off.
Whatev. It's done.
I'm sleepy. And smelly.
The only thing that's constant is the constant reminder they'd never change.
