Haha. I figured either you were really fast this time or you got the crampys again.
I was riding around from Montrose into downtown about a half mile from the finish. So I guess around there. People did not seem to like that hill under Montrose.
Good for you! It's best to start w a 10% shift in the right direction. Yes that is progress! Good for you! I only wish I had time to go run/ride my bike! Can't wait till I graduate so I can be more active and have free time! The past two days were great outdoor activity weather! Im totally jealous!
dude! i was monitoring the weather the whole week and the predicted forecast was something stupid like in the low 40's. i was expecting to freeze my ass off but the day was PERFECT!!!
and i ain't gonna lie. i barely trained for this marathon so the fact that i did a little better.... i'll take what i can get. :)

lemme break the marathon down like this:
miles 1 -7 are a breeze (downtown/heights/montrose)
miles 7-15 is complete torture (montrose/museum district/rice village)
miles 15-20 gets a little easier (rice village/weslayan/galleria area)
miles 20-23 (memorial park / s. shepherd) you realize there is an end in sight
miles 23- 26.2 (s. shepherd / allen parkway /downtown) the longest 3.2 miles of your life!!!!
