Thanks! Yeah, it's just crazy when your mind gets going on "what if"s.

I also heard from a friend just now that was on the actual train and got off at the stop before. Now that's something that will keep you up at night for a bit.

Definitely. I ride Metro probably 2-3 days a week and was just on the red line yesterday, actually.

And you're right, train accidents like this are few and far between.

Trains always freak me out, I try to avoid them. And just yesterday I took the train into downtown Denver for a concert. Glad you're safe, still a close call. I really feel for all those families out there now. : (

The one good thing is that this is such a rare type of incident. Trains are usually quite safe.

And thanks. Same here with the families, this is such a shocking thing to just come out of nowhere.
