Herman mentioned it earlier today and I've totally noticed it myself of late: Facebook has significantly taken my attention away from LJ. It's a much more useful site than anything Myspace or similar social networks have offered and has a much stronger sense of immediacy in keeping up with what your friends and family are doing. I agree about FB taking up so much LJ time, especially in the day-to-day. (My addiction to Facebook's FarmVille doesn't help anything either.)

I giggle every time I see this picture, here or on FB. It's great, and I don't do Mickey D's, but I appreciate the clever signage.
