Carol Boschma died last Tuesday. I was never a member of New Life so she was never my pastor but, growing up Christian in Duncan I went to New Life events, coffee houses, and had a lot of friends who attended that church. Aww, that's terrible. I hate that awkward feeling that occasionally comes about when speaking to the Duncan crowd. And I know what you mean about all of it being magnified when you're feeling sick. I find I'm always feeling sick when those situations arise too. Either sick or just generally feeling uncomfortable (you know, like i'm too hot or too cold or feeling ugly that day or just generally sick -like you were). AHH, it's the worst. I'm sorry you had to endure that. On the other hand, saying horribly shocking (but true) things can be fun sometimes.
