so there are minor problems in my prom party involving dinner/driving service. like kt really wants to eat at the river room, and she got us dinner reservations. now im cool with it, because fat people (me) eat anything. leah doesnt want to go because she doesnt want to spend that much money. leah knows im paying, but she thinks its way to ( Read more... )

AGAIN!!! it isnt $52 anymore.. i dont understand how everythinks its expensive.. because its not anymore. i asked the guy to lower the price and he did. thanks dan..

kt first off, i didnt even state that i said it was expenisve, i clearly stated that i didnt care. so why are u pointing the finger at me. hmmm thats not fair, and leah is intitled to her own opinion, so respect that. secondly i do remember hearing that it was only the big dinner (i think it was a dinner/salad/desert type deal)was $52. im being rational and calm, ms. kt u need to chill out. look katie..dan didn't say anything. the only reason he mentioned dinner at all again was because i had talked to him about it that night. what bothers me about going to the river room is that i'm only going to want to order a salad, which is more than i'd ever pay for a salad b/c dan will be paying for it. i don't even really want a salad, but i'll order one b/c it's one of the least expensive things on the menu and it's still expensive. it just makes me wonder why we can't go to like a nicer italian place or something where i can order something that i'll actually like and won't feel nearly as bad about on dan's behalf. i'm sure that the river room is abolutely beautiful, but for a one night thing, i don't think that it's absolutely necessary to blow a lot of money for atmosphere and gourmet food that we'll digest in 2 days. i understand that prom is supposed to be perfect and lovely and everything, but i think that has a lot more to do with the company than fancy restaurants that 5 out of 6 people did not agree to go to. i'm not ( ... )
