I should to set the record straight, this being our one-month anniversary: I have not changed my last name and have no future plans to formally become "Mrs. Steele". My personhood is very much intact, despite some efforts to erase it

Thanks. I've friended you back. I hope you can handle the orneriness of my blog. I use lj mostly to vent about things I find annoying and/or ridiculous. It's potentially a big turn-off.

Almost all of my posts are now protected because I went through a period where two people I knew in real life harrassed me online.

I work in academia as an admin assistant now but I no longer contribute half-baked ideas to scholarship. I think my husband would say that's his role.
