i started dreading going into do my show. volunteering should be fun! and it wasn't anymore. even when shiu (my former cohost, before he left for japan) came back, we did a show together and it still wasn't fun.
i just wanted to spend my afternoons working - either being paid to work or working in a doing a hobby sense. it seems much more productive than doing my show (who the pd thinks is one of the worst shows on chrw - that had a little to do with it).

it's the end of an era. i'll miss doing the show with you during the rare times that i'm back in town, but i think its a positive step. like dumping a bad boyfriend.

yes, that's how i feel too! grant = m.w.
i'm kind of hoping that i can still be involved in the december 6th programming. too bad you won't be in town for that but maybe i can do it with selena (which will be a first 'cuz you and i have always done it).
it was all very anti-climatic. i thought about it for a few days and then i just did it yesterday afternoon. it was like shaving my head or something ; p it didn't seem right to go on air and call grant a jerk, etc and i couldn't think of anything that would top how shiu quit.
maybe we can pick up a fill in shift over the holidays.

hahaha....i'd never sleep with grant though. ever!
i meant more that the time and care obligations required of being a volunteer at the station these days can be taxing. and if you feel unappreciated, something that was once so fun seems like a waste of time and effort. just like relationship where the other person stops caring, a la m.w.
i agree though that dec. 6 and fill-ins every once in a while can be fun (like a fling!), and i'd be totally down with doing that with you (like a menage a trois - just you, me, and the mighty RW; i hear he's well hung :P 50,000 watts baby!).
