march 1st was tulip day for the lung association and i bought two bunches. they've replaced my sad bouquet. i got to pick my tulips so i chose white with pink tips. they're blooming nicely

or, 3/4" cube them, toss in honey and toast them. toss on some sesame.

also, i saw a white lady shopping there. it looked like she had trouble finding some of her ingredients. i found that amusing. oh whitey.

oh man...purple sweet potatoes are so good! i had them in okinawa. they were really good as chips, like shiu sugested or as the middle of this mushed up rice dumpling like thing that is coated with sesame seeds and then lightly fried. mmm.

i wish i could post a picture, because i know i have a picture of one.
